Chia gel as a base for smoothies, Chia Pudding and more
Chia gel can be sweetened and flavoured to taste, making it an excellent base for all desserts such as the Chia pudding.
Ingredients for two servings:
- 4 to 5 tbsp. Chia seeds (buy Chia seeds here: Chia Seeds Store)
- 7fl. oz. filtered water or sparkling water
Mix water and seeds in a suitable bowl and stir everything well. Then place it for at least 10 minutes in the fridge. After a short time, the mixture will create a smooth, slightly sticky gel. If you leave your mixture cool for longer, your body will be better able to utilize the beneficial nutrients of the Chia during consumption.
It is advisable to preserve the gel for several hours in the refrigerator to ensure optimal nutrient availability. Once the gel is finished, it will last for two weeks, and can be used to make a Chia pudding at any time.
Chia pudding with berry fruit, coconut and mint

Ingredients for a smoothie:

- 4 pitted dates

The seeds of the Chia plant in itself provide already a ton on health benefits. However, if you add psyllium, those benefits are multiplied manifold.
Therefore, the Chia bread is not only extremely rich in fiber, but also extremely beneficial for your digestion while at the same time superbly nutritional. A true all-rounder! Excellent taste with a positive effect on your stomach and intestines!
Ingredients for a Chia bread:
- 2 teaspoons Chia seeds (buy Chia seeds here: Chia Seeds Store)
- 5 oz. polynuclear oatmeal
- 2 oz. hazelnuts (or walnuts)
- 5 oz. sunflower seeds
- 3.5 oz. linseed
- 4 tablespoons polynuclear oatmeal
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar (or maple or rice syrup)
- 3 tablespoons melted coconut oil
- 3.5 fl. oz. water
Mix first all the dry ingredients in a sufficiently large container or alternatively, directly right into the baking pan. Then stir in the syrup, oil, and water in a small bowl and add the finished liquid to the dry ingredients. Now everything has to be stirred well so that the dough for your Chia seed bread can easily smooth out later. After that let the mixture rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Only if the dough does not disintegrate or crumble anymore, it is ready for baking.
Pre-heat the oven to about 350°F, then let the finished Chia seed dough bake for 20 minutes. Next, take the Chia bread out of the baking dish and let it bake for another 30 – 40 minutes on the grill until it is golden-brown and crispy. Your Chia bread is now finished. All that is left to do is to let the bread cool down and to put it in a fitting box. The Chia bread will last for about 5 days but also can be stored in the freezer.
Protein rich Chia buns with cottage cheese and hemp seed
This recipe can serve as an excellent source of protein and fat, and on the other hand, contains no carbohydrates. The Chia rolls thus are perfect for a controlled low-carb diet as well as a base for breakfast or snack. However, they also taste delicious outside the “weightless” phase.

Pre-heat the oven to about 350°F. In the meantime, mix all the ingredients into a smooth dough. Then form your Chia rolls with your hands and put them into the baking dish. For your convenience place baking paper in the bottom and bake for about 25 minutes, or until they have a nice golden-brown color. Use a fork to check your Cia seed rolls if they are ready. If the surface is resistant and crisp, they are ready for consumption.
Crunchy Chia cereal with nuts, berries, and honey
Conventional cereal and crunchies often contain undesirable ingredients such as refined sugar. Therefore, the Chia seed muesli is much more recommendable for a healthy diet. A homemade Chia Crunchy is prepared in only a few steps, is great for a filling breakfast and can be easily stored.
Ingredients for a crunchy Chia Seed Muesli:
- 3 tbsp. Chia seeds (buy Chia seeds here: Chia Seeds Store)
- 7 oz. oatmeal
- 2 tbsp. flaxseed
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp. honey (or agave nectar, rice or maple syrup)
- 3 tbsp. chopped walnuts
- 3 tbsp. dried strawberries, bilberries or raspberries
- 3 tbsp. dried goji berries
Pre-heat the oven to about 150 degrees and carefully mix in all the ingredients except the dried berries. Make sure that everything is well moistened with honey and oil. Next prepare a tray with baking paper and spread the finished mixture evenly on the entire sheet. This crunchy Chia seed mixture needs to be baked for 30 minutes for it to be crunchy. Turn it over once while baking.
Next put your crunchy Chia cereals and let it completely cool out. Only then include the berries and mix everything thoroughly. This crunchy Chia muesli you can eat either the way it is or in combination with other cereal flakes and complement its taste milk or vegetable drink.
